Monitor and analyze major industry metrics, provide insights and recommendations, and communicate these through executive level presentations and documentation.
Open doors with potential partners, lead exploratory talks, build consensus with executives internal and external to Google, discuss complex, strategic partnerships that are often first-of-its-kind with C-level internal and external stakeholders.
Identify, create, lead, discuss and implement effective, and often complex, business agreements that drive results across the Android and Chrome platform business.
Identify and prioritize partner opportunities, become an expert on each partner-opportunities organization, business model, and strategic priorities. Serve as the ongoing Android relationship manager helping to drive value from the partnership.
Build and nurture strong relationships, working both with top partners and, in some cases, via partners to address the larger ecosystem in a scalable fashion.
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
7 years of experience working in the mobile chain industry.
Experience in project management, business development, and working with partners in China with OEMs/ODMs.
Ability to communicate in Mandarin and English fluently in order to manage the clients across Greater China.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience with ongoing partner relationship management.
Experience in software development and engineering, and understanding of technical fundamentals.
Experience in quantitative and data analysis, investment banking, and management consulting with presentation skills.
Ability to operate on their own with a high attention to detail and to function effectively with multiple cross-functional teams, including partner-facing teams.
Ability to interpret legal documents and drive work with attorneys on drafting specific agreement language.
Ability to serve as an advocate for our accounts internally and work collaboratively to identify opportunities or resolve issues.
