Signal Integrity Engineer
Our Electrical Engineering team puts the spark into the full hardware development lifecycle, from concept to production. It takes experts in system architecture definition, design, analysis, prototyping, sourcing & the debugging and validation of layouts or routes to deliver state-of-the-art products for a changing world. We work closely with designers, cross-functional teams within Dell Technologies and suppliers to make sure electronic designs meet a range of requirements, including schedule, feature set, functionality and quality, as well as industry standards.

What you’ll achieve As aSignal Integrity Engineer, you will be responsible for driving innovation in the field of Signal Integrity pushing the boundaries of next generation high speed signaling. The team members are accomplished industry experts with multiple patents and publications. The SI team focuses on innovative solutions around portfolio-wide transmission line challenges in the design and support of enterprise server platform development. You will work with Dell internal engineering teams and lead ODMs on DELL Core Power Edge Server and AI Server or Storage products.
Essential Requirements
- Thorough understanding of transmission line theory and electromagnetic field theory.
- Experience in Signal Integrity tools and applications of 2D, 3D, and Power Integrity simulation tools.
- Experience in advanced test and measurement equipment for Signal Integrity tasks.
- Experience in analogue and digital circuit theory and principles.
- Experience in negotiating with customer regarding issues and ability to successfully persuade with solutions.
Desirable Requirements
- Advanced ability in reading and understanding technical data sheets. Advanced ability to read and understand circuit schematics and/or mechanical drawings.
- Bachelor's degree in either electrical engineering or computer engineering and 2+ years professional experience (or an equivalent master's degree).
