The intern will support Manufacturing IT and Yield Management systems through initiatives focused on AI‑driven automation, system reliability, and application performance optimization. This role provides hands‑on experience with production systems by working with engineers to analyze historical data, improve system observability, and enhance shared service efficiency.
The intern will assist in applying AI techniques to enable automation and intelligent insights, such as image recognition, data‑driven labeling, and recommendation capabilities, helping reduce manual effort and improve process consistency. In parallel, the intern will support system reliability engineering efforts by developing metrics, dashboards, and alerts to improve system stability and incident visibility.
The intern will also gain exposure to application performance optimization by reviewing shared service components, identifying performance bottlenecks, and supporting improvements such as caching mechanisms within .NET‑based services.
