Join our team and help us continue to make Cirrus Logic an exceptional place to grow your career!  Cirrus Logic is looking for an experienced software engineer to join our growing PC-software integration and deployment team in Taipei, Taiwan.  This team of developers and testers is responsible for the integration of Cirrus Logic drivers, firmware, and tooling solutions with 3rd-party software and customer-specific customizations.  They bring industry-leading Cirrus technologies into production in well-known consumer-electronics devices.  Located close to key design and manufacturing sites, they also work directly with our field engineering team to understand customer needs and implement and verify critical changes to Cirrus software solutions to enable rapid time to market.  And as part of our factory-based software development organization, they work closely with our US- and UK-based development teams to enable exciting new technologies that are reshaping today’s PC user experience.

Join our team and help us continue to make Cirrus Logic an exceptional place to grow your career!  Play a critical role within a major accounts management team to significantly impact design wins and revenue growth at key customers, and ensure the customer is delighted with our products and support provided by the factory and field sales teams. Influence product direction by Interfacing with customer engineering teams and internal development teams to help drive new product definitions with key customers. Responsibilities Work with the VP of Sales - Major Accounts to develop sales strategies aligned to account objectives Act as liaison between the customer, quality and supply chain on related issues (EOLs, PCNs, FACRs, etc.) Act as the voice of the customer within the factory Active involvement and preparation ahead of pricing negotiations, assistance in account strategy plan creation and follow up/closure on behalf of the Account Team Conduct analysis and product reports as needed by field sales managers to drive growth (these reports could be supported by our BI tools as well) Participate in on-site meetings with customers for business reviews, pricing negotiations in support of the Field Sales Manager, or work with the customer to resolve quality or manufacturing issues. Work with Inside Sales to own OTD performance and forecast accuracy, coordinating across Field Sales, Product Marketing, Sales Operations and Supply Chain. Work with Inside Sales to own weekly revenue gap analysis, coordinating across Product Marketing and Supply Chain, and interfacing directly with customers as required Work with Inside Sales to complete analysis of customer demand, through contract manufacturers forecast to monitor trends, alignment changes and review directly with the customer (S&OP) Required Skills and Qualifications BS or MS in engineering or closely related discipline and 5-10+ years of experience in PC technical sales, applications engineering, business development or product marketing. This team of developers and testers is responsible for integrating Cirrus Logic drivers, firmware, and tooling solutions with 3rd-party software and customer-specific customizations. They bring industry-leading Cirrus technologies into production in well-known electronics devices. Located close to key design and manufacturing sites, the team works directly with our field engineering organization to understand customer requirements and deliver rapid, high-quality updates. As part of our factory-based software development organization, they collaborate closely with our US- and UK-based development teams to enable exciting new technologies reshaping today’s PC user experience. As a Staff Embedded Software Engineer, you will play a key role in driving project execution, providing technical direction, and coordinating activities across multiple stakeholders. You will help define integration strategies, set technical priorities, and ensure that workstreams remain aligned with program goals and timelines. You will mentor and support junior engineers, promote best practices, and help the team break down complex system-level challenges into manageable components. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including firmware, driver development, QA, field engineering, and manufacturing to ensure alignment on technical decisions and smooth handoff throughout the development lifecycle. You are expected to communicate clearly, anticipate risks, and proactively remove obstacles that could impact delivery. We’re seeking a collaborative team player with experience developing high-performance systems who can work independently, learn quickly, and take ownership of outstanding issues. In this role, you will embody our core values, strengthen team execution, and contribute directly to the ongoing improvement of our engineering processes.
